The Maryland Crime Victims’ Resource
Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3),
non-profit organization that
provides criminal justice information
and education, support services,
therapeutic individual , family,
and group counseling, peer
network, legal information,
referrals, and representation,
faith-based referrals, and
advocacy to crime victims and
their families.
Your donation is appreciated
to maintain and grow our programs
to serve our community. We
also offer membership to those
who would like to stay informed
and involved with The Center
on a regular basis. (Membership)
Benefit of tax credits beyond
normal charitable deductions
for your contributions.
MCVRC is one of a select number
of non-profits who participate
in the Maryland Community Investment
Tax Credit (CITC) www.dhcd.state.md.us/npp/index.asp,
program (Formerly know as the
Neighborhood Partnership Program
) sponsored by the State of
Maryland. CITC supports nonprofit
projects by awarding allocations
of State tax credits to the
sponsoring organizations to
use as incentives for business
contributions. Any business
may reduce its Maryland tax
liability by contributing cash
or goods to support CITC projects.
The business earns credits
equal to 50 percent of the
contribution, in addition to
deductions on both State and
Federal taxes as a result of
the charitable contribution.
