Coordinator of Victim Services

 

The Maryland Crime Victims’ Resource Center, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to fill the position of Coordinator of Victim Services.  The Coordinator of Victim Services plays a critical role in the delivery and management of comprehensive services to victims of crime.

The following are the duties of the Coordinator of Victim Services:

  • Supervise a team of victim advocates and interns to ensure all clients receive comprehensive and individualized services. 
  • Supervise the Volunteer Coordinator in developing and implementing volunteer program
  • Maintain a case management system to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Seek professional development and guest speakers for victim services staff
  • Attend meetings as a representative of MCVRC and provide presentations about MCVRC’s mission and services
  • Coordinate pro bono attorney referral services
  • Collaborate with the Legal Services team to address the legal needs of each client
  • Collaborate with Therapist to ensure clients are receiving appropriate therapeutic services
  • Manage multiple grants including reporting to the grantor and reapplication of grants
  • Maintain active listing of service related agencies
  • Assist in planning MCVRC’s Annual Ceremony of Remembrance and other events relating to victims’ rights and services. 
  • Update victim services protocol on a regular basis

Minimum Requirements:

  • MSW with licensure in Maryland (LGSW minimum; LCSW-C preferred)
  • 2 years supervision experience
  • 1 year grant management and reporting experience
  • Past experiences working with victims of crime including experience in trauma and grief
