A2J Online Application Interview


If you are looking to apply for help from the Maryland Crime Victims’ Resource Center you can complete the A2J Online Application Interview. This online application is an interview that will walk you step-by-step through requesting help. It will ask you the questions that we need to ask people who apply. You will need to answer each question so that we can understand your problem and get you the help you need in an efficient manner.

Applying For Help

We take applications on the internet with this application or over the phone. We can help with all types of crime including: arson, assault, breaking and entering, child abuse, destruction of property, domestic violence, DUI/DWI, elder abuse, fraud, harassment, ID theft, mortgage fraud, kidnapping, molestation, robbery/burglary/theft, sexual assault, survivors of homicide, and more.

To apply, you may complete the online application anytime day or night. Or, you can submit an application over the phone Monday through Friday from 09:00AM to 05:00PM by calling 301-952-0063 (877-842-8461, outside DC area). Please allow about 30 minutes to complete the application.

How Does The Interview Work?

This interview will ask for information about you, your problem, and any involved parties. The interview is a simple step-by-step process that will ensure we get all the information we need.

What Happens When I Finish The Interview?

At the end of the interview there is a “SEND” button that will submit your request for help to the Maryland Crime Victims’ Resource Center. Someone from our office will get in touch with you within 5 work days. You will get a message that your application has been submitted.

When Will I Hear From The MCVRC?

We will review each submission and respond to you within five business days, usually much faster. If we don’t contact you within 5 business days please call the main office at 301-952-0063 from 09:00AM to 05:00PM to find out the status of your submission.


Your information will not be shared with anyone outside of the Maryland Crime Victims’ Resource Center unless you give us permission.
